Assignment

GIMP, the GNU Image Manipulation Program, is a well-known tool (at least for Linux users) for image editing. It aims to be a professional tool, the leading image editor under Linux distributions, competitive to commercial tools like Adobe Photoshop. Its problem is a very low number of active developers (currently probably 8) leading to a huge number of unresolved tasks and bugs.

My task was to fix a minor bug #593167. In brief, there is a setting of length unit which should default to the system value. It worked under Linux properly but it was not ported for Windows. It is now ;-)
