In this reading group we study and discuss cutting edge research papers as well as ones of historical significance. The topics of interest include (but are not limited to): embedded systems, real-time systems, real-time communication, scheduling, combinatorial optimization, safety, security.

This seminar is participation driven. At each meeting, someone briefly presents a paper by summarizing the problem it deals with and its contributions and by raising some discussion points. The paper is then further explored together. Each participant is expected to contribute to the discussion by, for instance, asking questions, helping to clarify difficulties, proposing case studies or offering critiques. For this to happen, the attendees are expected to read the presented paper beforehand.

We use a mailing list to organize the reading group. Regular attendees are advised to subscribe to it. The paper to be presented is announced on this list and after some delay it appears on this page as well.

We usually meet every Friday at 13:00 in CVUT-CIIRC building, room A-522.

For the period of coronavirus outbreak we meet on Skype.
