Yes, this is required by faculty rules
(http://www.fel.cvut.cz/cz/rozvoj/studijni-rad.pdf, in Czech, Článek 6,
ods. 1) and also explicitely requested by the head of our department.

No.

If you don't have enough time, you can submit just a basic version of
the semestral work (e.g. without second motor, web server,
documentation, etc.). You will have less points, but you can then take
the exam. See

Also note that we plan to organize submission term before each exam, so
you will have an opportunity to submit it.
